Oops. I've been slack again. -Can't believe I haven't discussed my TV viewage since July!
So...pretty much anything I was watching before is now finished.
-I was right I am screwed for In Plain Sight....I hate having to wait till next year for things!!
-Nurse Jackie was awesome. Definately looking forward to the next season...next year...
I finished Brotherhood for good. Not bad. I felt the last episode sorta wrapped up a few things, it was a nice little ending, while not being an ending too I guess...seeing as there was going to be a 4th season. The last 2 eps were my fave from season 3. I thought season 3 got a bit boring, especially at the start.
Still have 1 ep of NCIS left to get and watch....I just don't care that much...makes me sad.
I finished Freaks and Geeks. Loved it.
Borrowed Arrested Development. Loved it. -Strange strange show...but once I watched enough, I got really into it. -I'm now another fan waiting for a movie!
I also finished the WW ages ago too.....course it almost doesn't feel like it since I've been watching as I go on my computer with editing for the video...
Now I'm watching Pushing Daisies again. I finished season 1 yesterday, and am starting season 2 tomorrow.
I also finished Friends as my, I'm bored and want to watch something I've seen hundreds of times and don't need to pay too much attention to. So now I'm watching Gilmore Girls. And the odd early Friends ep if I only have half an hour.
I think that's all to report for now. Emmy's are in a couple of weeks. YAY! New tv starts back soon. YAY!

Current TV Watchage
So...I'm halfway through season 6 of The West Wing already...makes me very sad. lol. But I am working on making my very own Josh/Donna fanvid...could be interesting.
I finished Scrubs. I really liked the way it ended.
I finished season 4 of Will and Grace...which is all I have...for now.
I've started Freaks and Geeks. And there are a few others that I can borrow from Ness after that...
In terms of downloaded shows...I'm enjoying new Showtime show Nurse Jackie. -A little weird, but entertaining.
I'm loving In Plain Sight....Course once we get through season 2 we'll be screwed!
I'm still behind on Brotherhood, and NCIS. I've got 2 more eps of NCIS left to download...I just can't be bothered..I think I'm losing interest in that show.
Still gotta catch up on Mad Men too...I haven't watched season 2 yet and season 3 is starting. oops. Maybe I can track that down soon.
Oh well...before I know it, september and the Emmy's will be here. Maybe Kristin will win this year. :)

Well so much for that!.
We are weak....weak, weak, weak. :D
So after our first week of being good and sticking to our 2 ep limit for The West Wing....we went ahead the next week and watched 6. .....Then this week we watched 4. Okay so an average of 4 eps a week is actually pretty good for us. -That's almost season 2 pace.
I think we will probably stick to blocks of 4 or 5 eps for the last few. We do have drinking week in their to drown our sorrows.
I will admit that the original limit of 2 eps was unrealistic....but it actually didn't feel wrong that we only watched two.....just like this week it didn't feel wrong that we watched just 4....even though we both kinda wanted to get to ep 5....but at the same time didn't....
I think we both are dying to get to the end...but don't want to get to the end at the same time. -Its a confusing set of feelings.
As far as other tv goes....its the end of the TV season. ER is gone, I've seen the end of Lost, Brothers and Sisters, and every other show I watch, 'cept Greys.
I've got nothing else to watch...nothing waiting for me. This means I will have to start downloading some other things....like the rest of NCIS -which has been my on hold show. I think I've got 3 or 4 eps of that left to see. I've also got to get season 3 of Brotherhood...but I have a feeling its gonna suck - I hope not. Then there is a few mini-series I want to watch, and a couple of movies I've got to track down. But I think I'm going to be very bored over the next few months.
-and waiting till Jan/Feb for new LOST is gonna be hard...this season was TOO good!!!!

TV is BACK!!!!
Well it's that time again. All the shows are coming back and the new ones starting up.
This year I'm downloading Heroes, ER, NCIS and Las Vegas. I had a lot of trouble getting the premire of Heroes. There were lots of fake files, which was very annoying. But I finally found it later in the week. Yay!
I had a mini-marathon Saturday night of ER, Heroes and NCIS. I watched the 2 hour (1.24 hours technically) of Las Vegas last night, as it was still downloading Saturday.
Out of all the eps, I think Heroes and Las Vegas were the best! NCIS and ER were both good, but lacking something. I know both can do better. ER's finale wasn't up to scratch either. I really hope they get their butts into gear soon.
I think LV and Heroes are going to be my main shows to download. And ER and NCIS my end of internet month fillers or to catch up on during breaks.
Ness is downloading Brothers & Sisters, Grey's and the new Spin-off Private Practice. I'll have to wait for those, but it's something to look forward to.
As far as new shows go, nothing sounds that great. (not counting PP) I'll wait and see what takes off. I don't want to get into something only for it to get canned after a few eps.
New Heroes to watch tomorrow. Woot!

Can there be too much tv?
After the revelation that I could unlock my expensive dvd/vcr/dvd recorder to play any region dvds I wished it too, I was faced with the problem of having too many choices about my dvd purchases. So I have tried to be sensible. I have plotted out in an excell spreadsheet, the prices both US and Australian, as well as the release dates. In many cases the US ones are prefereable as they have more special features than the Aussie ones. Also the prices includ the exchange rate, and in some cases probably the shipping charge as well. There are also some that are not avaliable here anyways...which means I HAVE to get them from the US, if I want to get them at all. So now the hard part is trying to decide which I want to get first. -should I got by release date, or by place in my overal list of favorite shows? Then of course there is the whole limited funds thing..and the fact that there are many dvds coming out here that I want to get as well.
I think I'll see how my work goes, if I get shifts next week and the week after, I might consider ordering 3 dvd sets instead of just 2...or 4 instead of 3 etc. I really want to start with Grey's Anatomy season's 2 and 3...but I should also work out whether NCIS comes out around the same time, and also Studio 60... buying them at the same time will save on postage...or maybe breaking it up into smaller groups, so I don't have to wait as long. -This is something that is going to bug me for a little while...
Damm options! It was so much easier when I had less to choose from!

Winding Down Now
So its that time of year, the current seasons have ended in the US, and are slowly coming to an end here in Australia. So far I have seen the finales of Heroes, Las Vegas, ER and Brothers and Sisters. One which was a really full on ep with a cliffhanger ending, another which ended nice and neat, a third which ended big and with a semi-cliffhanger, and another that ended really pathetically...they were in this order, Las Vegas, Brothers and Sisters, Heroes and ER. After last years big finale, ER really let us down this season.
And I have watched the series finales of Crossing Jordan, and Gilmore Girls. - Both of which were not really inteded as real series finales, but just in case ones. Which totally sucked, while hte eps were good, as finales they were missing that something ...closeur! Crossing Jordan in retrospect had no real closure. Okay so we know they were rescued, Jordan admited her feelings to Woody..and he reciprocated, and the final scene with Jordan and Garret was pretty perfect...however, that was a show that never should have ended on the side of a mountain. There was no great death, no resolution of Emily's murder -which drove the early seasons of the series, and there is just not a 'this is the end' feeling.
Then there is Gilmore Girls, it ended with nods to the pilot, and earlier themes, there was the reuniting of Lorelai and Luke, and Rory found a job post-college.
But it still felt slightly empty. I don't know exactly what was wrong with it...but it just needed something else....although I am glad they didn't pull a Luke/Lorelai wedding...cause that would have been just crazy..and not the good kind!
I still have the finales of NCIS, Desperate Housewives, Lost and Grey's Anatomy left. I am really looking forward to September, when there will be shows for me to download again.
